k9 dog training is not a mystery

Having lived with dogs all my life, I know that a properly trained dog is important for everyone’s safety, including the dog’s. For example, let’s discuss running. Imagine you are walking your dog and he sees another animal, maybe a dangerous one, and starts to chase it, or he decides to run out into the street, the end result would not be nice. There is a high likelihood he would be injured. Or imagine you have a dog that barks all the time; you neighbors will quickly tire of this. A dog barking at intruders is a good thing; a dog barking constantly is not. You could be facing some legal consequences if your untrained dog bites someone for no reason. There are many things you can buy that will help you with training. You can get help from the internet. k9 dog training is not a mystery, it is as simple as following the right techniques. I prefer the one-on-one master. Your dog needs to know who the boss is and this should be one person. You are the alpha person and there can only be one in each relationship. Commands should be simple like sit, stay, down, stop, and come here. Include a hand gesture, one for each command so the dog does not get confused. Over time and with practice this will be the best way. Treats and praise should accompany your attention. Dogs and children are the same, they love your attention.
