I remember as a boy listening to my father tune in to the national atomic clock station on his short-wave radio. He would carefully gather all his mechanical watches and clocks and every month synchronize them to what he called: the mother of all clocks when it came to accuracy. Nowadays, you can still achieve this level of time precision with Radio Controlled Clocks. In short, these clocks are always right on the money time wise because inside they all contain a radio that is permanently tuned to an atomic clock. Wow! Now I know what my dad was doing all those years. Great fun and memories!
