While it may be tempting to add humor to your best man speech, make sure it is done in a tasteful manner. You are giving a speech on the most important day of a couple’s life. Crude humor will be totally inappropriate. If you do plan on adding a humorous story to your speech, be sure to let someone else hear it. This will give you another opinion about the story. Avoid anything derogatory about the bride and groom or any stories that would embarrass the couple. All of the content of the speech should be appropriate for all ages. If done correctly, humor can be a part of the best man speech.
