Clsoing the School for Safety

February 25th, 2010 by admin

There was recently some work done on my daughter’s high school. What worried everyone was that there was a panel that fell from the ceiling and a bunch of some unknown matter fell out. The first thought on everyone’s mind was mesothelioma exposure. Since no one knew what it was, the school was closed and a special team was brought in to carefully remove the substance. Fortunately it wasn’t asbestos, but they decided to keep the school closed to check for asbestos in other places throughout the whole school. They didn’t find any, thank goodness. While the school was closed they also fixed the ceiling.
