Doing data recovery for our local police department, I see a lot of stuff I could do without. I wish that people understood that very seldom can they permanently delete information. Not to brag, but last week I was able to recover the original message on a cassette tape. This tape had been taped over four times and I got the information needed to convict this criminal. People assume that by deleting information the information no longer exists. Several time I have had broken pieces of computers brought to my office and was able retrieve information from them. While there are times we cannot get the information we need, they are very few and far between. It is easier to just live right.
