Australian Porperty Market Said To Be Doing Well

January 22nd, 2010 by admin

Australia’s real estate market has held up fairly well throughout the global economic crisis. Properties, in and around, major cities such as Perth, Sydney and Melbourne are still popular with both nationals and overseas buyers. The Government has made purchasing real estate for foreigners fairly easy. Although permission from the Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) is necessary before you make a purchase once this has been received, purchasing of real estate is fairly straight forward.Properties associated with the tourism industry are always popular with more and more people visiting Australia every year. A healthy income can be earned from these properties when not being used by the owner.

A Birthday Party At the Track

January 21st, 2010 by admin

Last week my children were invited to a birthday party at a dirt field. I thought the location was strange when I first got the invitation so I call the parents of the child whose birthday party it was. His Mom said yes it’s going to be at the field and she explained that it’s a surprise to all the kids. They went out and rented a few Electric Pocket Bikes and made a small track on the field for the kids to ride on. She also said they rented Porto potties and a tent where they would be keeping the food.

Selling Gold Jewelry – Reasons Why This Is The Idea Time To Cash In your precious jewelry

January 19th, 2010 by admin

Selling Gold Jewelry – Reasons Why This Is The Idea Time To Cash In your precious jewelryYou will find that there’s no more appropriate time than now to be selling gold jewelry. Would you know why? Unless you have not heard, you have been lost on a desert island someplace, or you have been too preoccupied sulking due to all of the bad news about the economy these days to pay attention to the good news, the price of gold is constantly rising at the present, worth well above $1,000 per ounce. That is correct, you read correctly: You ought to be selling gold jewelry right now because it is worth well over $1,000 per ounce!Gold has been consistently over the last couple of decades, hovering well above twenty percent every year, the sole exception being a 5.6 percent loss in 2008. Even in the 2009, gold managed to recover from the global economic crisis and rebound already, at a 23 percent increase from year 2008 levels! So what does that mean? It means that despite the cyclical boom and busts, and the rise and fall of the dot coms, the rise and fall of real estate, the near-collapse of the stock market, and the devaluation of the US dollar, all have proven to be altogether volatile investments, the only stable investment vehicle throughout this entire time has been gold.So if you have been in possession of gold for some time, now would be a great time to cash it in, if you are hard up for some money as a result of this global economic recession that we have all just been through. So where should we be selling gold jewelry? Who should we be selling gold jewelry to? And how can you be sure that you get the highest price? These are all very important questions. There are two parts to the answer:1. You should avoid selling your gold to a retail store, a pawn-shop, or a jewelry exchange. Basically any type of customer-oriented retail shop is a bad idea. Why is that the case? Because these shops are in in business for buying and reselling gold. They desire to procure gold from you with the intention of reselling it straight away, while making money in the process. They essentially gold brokerages and look to earn commissions using the classic \”buy low and sell high\” strategy. So obviously, they would be be dealing tight profit margins and would not be open to offer you as much as you would be happy with.2. You ought to be selling your gold to a gold refinery. Why? Because a gold refinery does business by acquiring gold, melting it, and remanufacturing the gold raw material to other companies. There is no middle man. There is no flipping gold for profit. They are able to offer you a higher price for your gold due to the fact that the margin of profit in this particular situation is much greater. Thus it creates a win-win solution that makes happy both the refinery and you.Gold is a rock solid investment vehicle, and has remained so while at the same time we have observed the rise and fall of the dot coms, the housing bubble and burst, the market crash of 2008, and the devaluation of the dollar. So there is no better time than the present to sell gold jewelry

Bring back the “Old Days!”

January 17th, 2010 by admin

I remember being a little kid and you could find any number of drinking fountains anywhere.  Whether it was in school, church, the doctor’s office, or pretty much wherever–there always seemed to be one of these around.  I miss those days.  Sure, there are still quite a few available but not at the levels they used to be in the past.  That is a shame too because it is such a simple way to make a person happy–who doesn’t enjoy a nice long free drink, especially on a hot day?  I know I sure love it.  I am appreciative of the places that still offer this “old school” service.

Free Tax Help Is The Best Kind Of Help

January 16th, 2010 by admin

All year, I have to pay a little extra for this or that, to get what I want or to thank someone for doing a good job. When it comes time to do my taxes, I want Free Tax Help without needing to pay anything when it’s over. I was able to find a program that would do just that, give me the help I needed, guide me through the different steps and make sure that I got the biggest return. All without having to pay a dime. Now that’s what I call making my dollar stretch! Too bad the rest of the year can’t work like this.

How We Got A Fort Myers attorney

January 15th, 2010 by admin

We knew that we were going to be requiring the services of a professional because it was a complicated situation that we had to deal with.  With any complicated legal situation, there is no doubt that it will require a lawyer, more specifically the input of a Fort Myers attorney in our case.  Originally we started by asking a few friends if they knew of anyone and then we did a little bit of searching in the phone book.  We even called a phone number that we saw on a billboard.  In the end we got the most help from the Internet.

My Dickies Scrubs Are The Perfect Fit

January 14th, 2010 by admin

I’m a nurse on a busy cardiac floor in the hospital, and I always have things to keep in my pockets. I have to carry pens, small tablets of paper, scissors and other medical equipment, and it can be hard to find uniforms with enough pockets. One of my coworkers was wearing some great scrubs one day, and I asked her where she got them. She said that they were Dickies Scrubs, and that I would love them. I tried on a pair at the store, and they had plenty of pockets, which I liked. The modern cut was slimming, and now they are the only uniform brand that I’ll wear!
